Since I begin watching moving images in YouTube, the most impressive content was the scene that a snake is swallowing a frog. The frog was already swallowed except for his hands and a head. He tried hard to free from death. His eyes were big . But finally his whole body was down in the snake's mouth. No cutting. 1 cut, 1 scene. I haven't seen such a moving images in my life on TV . It depicted a death clearly. Maybe it is like tableaux of Le Douanier Rousseau. This kind of silent struggle occurs often in our daily life but we don't want to look at the truth.Rousseau's paintings depict often secret struggles between animals in the wood. Recently I watch a lot of moving images in SNS as this kind of fight ,in many cases, in Africa. The struggle between animals should be watched without montage.
Before internet age, montage was called magic. But after YouTube became popular in the world, the way to control time in moving images changed drastically. It is audiences who can cut , picking up what he wants to see , passing a lot of other footages. And sometimes audiences want to see all the footages without any cutting or disconnections. It is a real Revolution of moving images.
