I miss new journalism and I hope it will rise again. In the last 10 years, in Japan, backlash against new journalism was so strong under Abe's politics , almost all the magazines were shut. New journalism had the flavor of literature and the power of journalism.Writers can make ends meet by writing for magazines and later he/she can reedite articles and finally make a book. This is a good system so we need to revitalize this cycle.
New journalism had a flavor of literature or even poetry, which gave us some inspiration for happiness. This feeling has something against fascism. In Japan, people finally begin to recoginize what they lost in the last 10 years like bad dream or over 30 years after the end of cold war.
